Along the Urubamba River and Sacred Valley I was able to experience new life through the healing from my Shamanic Family.  As we learn and grow in oneness I can share the medicine of my experience through ancient teachings over the decades.   I have been the fortunate recipient of a number of teachers.   It began in 1977 In my freshman year at Augustana College when I was taught Lakota Social Systems by Dr. Martin .  I had no idea at the time what a formational gift I was given.   I seemed to understand and believe life made more sense with the circle of learning in consensus.

I was a counselor of boys in northern Minnesota in a group home. Some of the training we did was learning of Ojibwa ways in the peoples of northern Minnesota and Wisconsin.

Later I sat at the feet of Jeanerette; a medicine woman of the Kurek tribe in California.  She became a mentor I would cross paths with once in awhile.

Living in Nome Alaska brought the Inuit world view to my experience and I relished all the teachings of the four years that I lived there.  Both of my living children were born while living there and they were adopted into the family and life of the real people.

A few years later the travels through the 50 states involved visiting and learning from as many of our Indigenous Peoples as I could.  I was the student of story after story of struggles and triumphs.  Learning of multiple Trails of Tears and betrayal of treaties but also values of land, people, nature and the environment that made for health over wealth.

Fast forward to 2023 and my trip to Peru not as a tourist but on a Sacred Journey to my own spiritual self.  Learning not by intellect but by emersion.   Puma and his team of Shamans guided us as a beautiful family of the world.  People coming together by spirit and forever woven into a commonality.
